July 24 - July 28
Young filmmakers and animators can take their skills to the next level in this course by learning how to stage, shoot and edit their own movies. Students will use digital cameras and iMovie to create their own original movies that tell their story. Instructors will guide students through all the challenges young filmmakers face – from creating a dynamic plot to the interview process. The course will end with One River’s short film screening – where students and parents will join us to view our artists films.
*Students are required to bring their own digital camera to camp.
July 31 to August 4
Learn to Draw Realistically
Still life, landscape, and the figure serve as the best subjects for developing foundational drawing skills. The goal of this class is to give students the tools to translate what they see in their own art. Students leave with a portfolio of drawings showcasing their progress, as well as a toolkit of drawing skills that they can exercise for years to come.
