Didi is a self-taught local artist living in Frisco, TX since 2003. She studied business and Economics in Amman, Jordan where she was born and raised. As a child she used to create in-home galleries of her simple drawings to sell to family members. Although always passionate about the arts, she got caught up in life and didn’t pursue it until 2015 when a personal hardship moved her towards letting her inner creativity come out and be an outlet to her emotions. Her work mainly stems from her personal journey in life, yet she enjoys creating pieces originating from her love of all and anything aesthetic in life.
Didi works with acrylic paints, she likes texture and layers, and is influenced by the works of Gerard Richter among others. She’s strongly drawn to abstract expressionism and loves to experiment with different styles vs maintaining a single cohesive one.
She’s also passionate about decorating and photography.
