The highly stylized characteristics and engaging storylines of manga comics have become a cultural phenomenon worldwide. In this workshop students will create their own manga character learning about color application and linework.

Students will explore coloring and shading in Photoshop to create a Robot Character with Color, Skills & Techniques will focus primarily on layering base colors with clipping masks to add shadows and highlights.

Through digital compositing, students will create their own unique version of a Chimera: a creature comprised of various other animals. Skills & Techniques will focus on various photo manipulation tools such as the content aware move tool, masking & gradient effects.
